Monday's European Museum was a huge success! After studying World War II and European geography, the students were ready to put their knowledge to use. They worked in three committees: Arts and Movies, Games, and Entertainment to organize a museum that the other grades at St. Pats would visit throughout the day. The Entertainment Committee organized three plays based off famous Greek myths. They also performed as mimes. The Games Committee came up with three new creative ideas for games-Explorer Bingo, Map Darts, and Musical Chairs using classical music. The Art Committee decided to have the students watch a BrainPop video, build their own monument out of blocks and be quizzed on different famous paintings. In addition to all these activities, the museum also had talking saint statues, creepy paintings, a cafe and a whole section of European artifacts that the students brought from home. Can you picture it all? Well, lucky for you we took lots of pictures of the days activities. Go here to see all the amazing features of our European Museum. Great work students!
