Teacher Feature December 1, 2017
Hi, this is Mrs. Tetrick. I am the 6th-grade homeroom teacher and the 6th, 7th and 8th Language Arts teacher here at St. Patrick's School. This is my third year to teach at St Patrick's. Before teaching here I taught 3rd-grade, 5th-grade, and Title at Kingman Public School. I began my teaching career a little late in life. I received my teaching degree from Newman University in 2005 shortly after my 40th birthday. I received a Masters in Instruction Technology from Fort Hays University a few years after that. I love teaching at St. Patrick's School!
My husband Bill and I have lived in Kingman all our lives and live on a farm just south of town. All five of our children and our two grandchildren have attended or are attending St Patrick's. Our family has always been involved in rodeo, golf, hunting, and traveling. We also enjoy hosting exchange students. We have had students from Germany, Italy, and Switzerland. I can't wait until I get to visit them in their home countries.
I am proud to call St Patrick's my home parish and my place of employment. We have a great school and church. I want to wish everyone a great school year.
