Well, it looks like we made it! With all the things we had to endure this year particularly with construction, that phrase seems to mean a little more than usual. Let's see, moving and building the desks and chairs, planning events around construction, moving again, relocating the library, relocating the computer lab, relocating third grade, waiting for the gym floor to be finished, relocating the cafeteria, planning for the St. Pats Dinner, waxing floors, moving Father Jim, moving the church office, planning the commissioning, attending the commissioning....the list seems endless. However, all the while we were doing that, we still achieved at the highest level on every assessment, and strengthened our bond in our community. So much so, that people are recognizing us as leaders and promoting our efforts with gratitude and praise. In particular, the true testimony is how well the students performed in less than perfect situations. They are the heart of our greatness, and I am very proud of all that they have accomplished this year. I too am very proud of every parent for always being there to help. It never ceases to amaze me how much everyone is so very willing to help in a moments notice. As we reflect back on all of our accomplishments this year, please give praise to God, for all of this would not have been possible without His grace and blessing. My prayer, in particular this year, has been for all of you to continue to support and be involved with all that we are accomplishing. God truly has answered my prayer.
I hope all of you have a restful and safe summer. Hopefully everyone will come back to a completely finished building and project, knowing we all had a major role in creating history in this community.
Please mark your calendar for school registration, Wednesday and Thursday, July 28th and 29th. Times are as follows: 9:00am - 1:00pm and 4:00pm - 6:00pm each day. The first day of school is August 16th for every student.
Don't forget to get your physicals for sports. If you need a form, you may get one from the office. We will also have physicals available during registration. Please too have your immunization records complete, or have the proper medical exemption paperwork ready for your child to enter school at registration time.
May your summer be restful and relaxing. Don't forget to read, read, read!!
With you in Christ
