We are honored to announce that St. Patrick Catholic School, Kingman has been named a Diocesan Banner School for the 5th consecutive year.  Mr. Bob Voboril, Superintendent of the Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Wichita, joined us for Mass this morning and made the presentation to Mr. Lyall and Fr. Shockey.  We are grateful for the support of our diocese, our fantastic teachers and staff, our hardworking students and especially our supportive parents and parishoners.  We are truly blessed!

National Catholic Schools Week

National Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. It starts the last Sunday in January and runs all week, which in 2015 is January 25 - 31. The theme for the National Catholic Schools Week 2015 is “Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service.” Schools typically observe the annual celebration week with Masses, open houses and other activities for students, families, parishioners and community members. Through these events, schools focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to our church, our communities and our nation. Our diocese has made a promotional video for all of our catholic schools. Here is the link for all of you. Please share this with anyone who may be interested in attending a Catholic School. It does an outstanding job of getting a very good message out for all our schools. Enjoy!

We are so blessed to have this fantastic Catholic School. I am honored to be here with all of you who do countless things to support our mission. May God abundantly bless all of you and our efforts.
